Hi guys, found this ducting in boot and not sure where its from on the car, does anyone recognise it? Has some numbers on it but nothing comes up on Google. Car is 1997 EL 6cyl.

That is the Battery vent. Runs from the battery surround and the rad support.

I had a pipe a lot shorter than that on my el falcon, but whoever changed the battery didn't put the surround back on the and left the pipe sitting down below the battery. I guess its not needed.

I ran my EF without the battery vent tube for several years with no problems. The idea is to cool the battery, rather than leave it exposed to hot engine compartment air. A cool battery lasts longer.
