pods are useless imho :) at least for falcons.

tochi doesn't count, he only has 20rwkw total anyway, so the car was probably just being temperamental :)

Oh and if you did that on the AFF dyno day, and only had two runs, I gained 6rwkw on my second run, and did nothing. Engine was just still warming up.

I put a k&n panel in my xr6 yesterday. My old filter was f****d. Made a huge difference. 2nd gear wheelspin went from a chirp to 3-4 seconds now.

nah, 2 diff days.. although not both at BPT. both had dyno dynamics dynos. (other place was Black Mac Performance).
pre-pod was done at 9am on a cold day. (ute was driven 20mins to place before hand)
post-pod was done at 1pm on a warm day (ute had been sitting around for 4hrs before hand)

so i could of got more with more favourable temperature.

im not disputing the part of only having 20rwkw to begin with :P

you will get more power with a well set up pod filter over the standard intake... just make sure it aint getting hot air, its pretty easy

EL nathan do you have any pics we might be able to tell ya if youve gone wrong...

My pod works a treat inside the stock airbox, no dramaz. Best gain is the awesome induction note with these things, prob ads a few herbs too. Do U need to reset the ECU with some cars after changing the POD? I didn't with mine tho and it runs sweet, just a stab.

fair enough... sometimes just looking around (on car sites) can get you a bargain.
i got my K&N 9" pod (brand new, in box, with warranty etc) for $50... yes $50... because the kid i bought it off couldnt fit it in his 180sx :P
