0-120 in about 10.0

Oh one last thing what rpm is the limiter ameant to kick in on a series 2 eb. Does it even have one? At about 5250 rpm if not sooner it seems to missfire as if hitting a limiter suddenly. Scared the s**t out of me.

dude pushing your car too huge revs all the time of course she gonna play up..um im not sure bout an actual rev limiter i wouldnt think so...i think u can push it til the redline and beyond til the motor just lets go

Damn I always thought these cars had rev limiters and would safely rev to about 5500rpm

I very rarely give it a thrashing just every so often to make sure everything is still runing okay.

You shouldn't push those engines so hard.. every EA - EL I've driven starts to sound very harsh much past 4500rpm.

i thought they had one as well, found out the hard way though.... the gravel was calling me :!: At 5700ish it does sound a bit wrong, but that's what a clutch and second gear is for

If you really want better acceleration then consider a diff upgrade.
Your most likely on a 3.08 or 3.23.
The 3.45 LSD are around $700 i think.
You may get to 100 quicker but you wont be able to go much faster than that j/k

well considering, according to redbook.com.au, that a stock 94 fairmont does 0-100km/h in 9.4 seconds, i think your cars pulling alright.
