did u ever stop to think that there was a reason ford made the exhaust ports smaller than the inlets?
wen it comes to scavenging port velocity is critical, go bigger than optimum and the gasses slow down dramaticaly hope u havent over done it mate |

He may, and probably will, still gain some performance, but it may just be less than what he could have made with less work is all.
Not a huge deal in the end as long as he's happy with how it goes. |

I already have a ported and polished head on my car now ( 3.9 head on a 3.9 bottom end ), with original cam and rocker gear, inlet man etc, etc....
It definatley has more pull in the midrange to top end than before. I had to set the mixtures back 15% from OE settings, at idle. It doesn't appear to have lost any bottom end. The exhaust ports are the same size as the valves on this head too. The valves fitted to this are from an EL.
