Top half yeah, bottom half I don't believe so due to the different heads. However, the BBM is better for NA vehicles. And unless your running an aftermarket ECU your timing and what not is going to be upset by loosing the BBM butterflies change over. |

Vince, as you know this is another item on my to do list , ''which is getting longer every day'' but these days me trying to get anything done is near to imposible so if you want to pursue this project I'll tell what to do ..... & I'll garantee it will make hp !!!!

Does anyone know where I could get a ported BBM done? Except JMM....they want $800 :S

I have found the genuine inlet man. gaskets are smaller than the ports in the head.

I have seen diagrams on the net on how the butterflies work. Can't find any at the moment.

my mate in warnambool can do it for ya, has a yellow el6, a few people know him, he does performance work on 4ltr fords and he knows what hes doing. his car speaks for his work |

There's noway i'm payin $800 for one lol, i'm just tryin to see if any other joint does it cheaper......otherwise i'll have to invest in a dremal.

i bought one to work on and sell, and f**k that too much work.
An engineer wouldnt even give me a quote as most of his tools wouldnt be suitable he reckoned |

I know porting is great but after a few hundred hours of research I dont believe there is a big benefit in porting the bbm. The reason why I believe this is that when the runners switch to short butterflies that both long and short paths are both open at the same time.Therefore more then enough air is going down there.
