I have a eb falcon series 2,4 litre engine
it goes well over all but with my foot to the floor it wont change from 2nd gear to third and as soon as i back off it changes fine,so basically when i give it to it the best result is to just put your foot at 3 quarter throttle i must have a great loss of power when i do this not to mention wasting fuel can anyone help?

Either adjust the bands on the gearbox yourself, or get a transmission place to do it.

He did it, and said it really helped, and I'm about to have a crack at mine this arvo.

my mums car (ED) does this, the problem with hers is that its missn 2nd and drive, and when its on power it wont change, dont matter if ur barely revvn it, make sure its got all its gears!

OKay, update, didn't fix the 'not shifting at WOT' problem. I still have to back off to force a shift.
Although now it's nowhere near as harsh.
Think it might be a valvebody problem, I'm taking mine to an trans place this week.
If it's gonna cost too much, I'm gonna source an AU box to slap in..
