Hey people,
I've got an NA BF barra motor and it's got a turbo on it, all tuned and aet up properly. Does anyone know what the power limits are on these things?

The weakest part in the barra motors are the piston connection rods if I remember correctly 450kwt is about as far as you would push it & stay under 6000 rpm other wise your looking for trouble or rebuild with better internals to handle more power than you have to fix the next weakest link gearbox, tail shaft diff etc hope this helps

ba n/a high comp bottom end wouldnt wanna be pushed over 250rwkw, you could go further if a tuner knew what he was doing but it would be a pretty soft tune, if your running the factory boost control from the pcm you can take out boost where it counts to save the bottom end,

Can go higher ? Depends on tune ? Always use 98 fuel.. A water / Meth kit keeps Pistons safe, improves octane and cools intake .. Win win..
