gots a problem with my power stearing, its really really heavy when im stationary but when moving its fine, its moaning and groaning too, but its holding its fluid, and the pump was replaced bout 2 months ago, does this sound like a rack problem??? when the car is ideling its heavy, but if i touch the accel when trying to turn its becomes really lose. the revs dont seam to change at all when i put pressure on the wheel when ideling, does that mean it could be some sort of switch???

it might still have air in the system. take the cap off lock to lock the wheel a few times with the front wheels in the air. you can also try taking the cap off and rev it a few times that just purges the air out of the system

Check inside the boots for oil, there shouldn't be any, if so, the rack will need replacing.

preaty sure there is no air as it was working fine for bout 3 weeks the decided to go, got a feeling its the idle control switch as it doesnt wanna change reves when presure is applied to the system, ill give that ago, if not, ill replace the rack.
