ok so i replaced my power steering belt a few days ago as it broke. problem is i got a new one from repco and it keeps turning itself inside out and coming off. i got another belt just incase i got a dud and its doing the same thing. steering feels okay until you lose ps then its not so good has anyone here had this problem before. by the way its a gates branded belt from repco.

either the belt is not tight enough or you may have a tensioner pulley problem or harmonic balancer outer that is starting to move around?

the belts tight enough i just went and got a tensioner for her as the one on has a bit of play. waiting till it cools down a bit before i try and put it on. i lost a alt belt about a fortnight ago which lends favor to the balencer turning which is not great will see how it goes only seems to flip at higher rpm if this is another clue maybe.
