im sure this has been asked before did a search and tryed a few things.
it ALWAYS falls off under full boot. pain in the a** as when it comes off it normaly stuffs the belt. the harmonic balencer is virtually brand new as the old one collapsed under warrenty. doesnt wobble etc, what else would cause this? tryed both bosch and gates belts... any ideas would be great

Fan belts on the EF/EL/AU's don't just fly off....there is something wrong......the belt tensioner assembly or the Harmonic Balancer are usually the culprits.

Check the belts with the car stationary, engine running and see how the belts look then. Give it a bit of a rev and see what happens. Tensioner bearing could be stuffed, power steering pump shaft bent?

Tensioner bearing could be stuffed, power steering pump shaft bent? Yeh pretty much tried all that. Like I said before will press a new bearing into the pulley and see if that helps. Will hve to have another good look. Like I said I've had a look, got my mate who's a fitter to look with it not running and running. Jezzze I hate these anoying problems.
