hey fellas well the other day i had no powersteering when i reversed out of my drive way then when i put it in drive i suddenly had powersteering i thought the drive belt was worn so i replaced it and while replacing it i noticed my fluid was a brown colour so i flushed the system and changed the fluid. now its got s**t responce if i turn the wheel while the car isnt moving it makes weird noises and the wheel wobbles a bit any one know what the problem is ? thanks

you have to bleed the system,,,with the engine running turn it to full lock one way,,hold for a few seconds only then turn to opposite lock and hold for a few seconds,,then repeat once more,,it gets the air out of the system.

i did that when i changed the fluid and i followed the workshop manual

Have you re-checked it? Did it need a top up?

no it didnt need a top up but i just drove it and its all good i dont know mby just sitting there must ahve let all the fluid run through the rack or something

Since the conversion, mine is doing the same thing, but it hasn't come good yet.
I didn't know you have to bleed it, i'll give that a go. Andrew.
