well i have a ef fairmont 96` and feel's like theres something wrong i dunno how to explain it but when i give it to her she sumtymz tends to make this weird noise and looses power, it's like a trrrr kind of noise hehe geez i cant explain it newaizz ..
ne help woud be appreciated thanks..

it's like me asking ' my car goes snap crackle pop what wrong with it????
not very helpful is it




we want things like it only happens when the temp is ......., the noise sounds like it comming from.......... it happens when in ...... gear it and auto or manual?
its a V8 or I6? what the feul consumption like. when was the last service?
if auto when was the last auto service.

you need to give as much info as posible

temp sits in the middle so it's normal, aah most of the time the sound starts to make it on 2nd gear, its a I6, 200,000 on the clock n ive got another 7,000 till next service, it's very annoying HELP!

dont you mean 2000 till next service. 10 000km is far too long

No he means he has 200,000 on the odometer and he has 7000ks until the next service.

Try giving as much info as possible on what you dont understand he is saying...like "third word on second line".

does the car sorta feel like its going to stall? and it only happens when the car has been left sitting there all day or over night?

cause my car does this not all the time but some times.
is this the same prob as u?

naah not really, car seems normal when stopped just when u give it to her a little at about let's say 3 to 5 grand she make's the noise n looses power, see it's not all the time just very rare as iv'e said it's happened twice, so I just might take her in for a earlier serive.. thanks newais.. sorry guys, couldn't really explain myself...

Ok I'll describe something I hear with my car and see if it's similar.
When I've got the foot on accelerator and I set the cruise control, the engine makes this harmonic hum as it revs up to the set speed, usually 1 or to 2kph more than my current speed.
Almost like induction noise that is suddenly amplified as soon as I hit the cruise set button. It goes away as soon as the cruise control gets up to the set speed.
I'm thinking is could be induction roar, worn torque convertor, or worn uni-joints.
Is that what you get, and does anyone else know what that could be?

I get that to, but nah it's not the problem im talking about.
