Hey i just got my car back from being repaired from some front end damage (kangaroos)... and i thought id ditch the old clutch fan for the EL Thermos..

but i just cant seem to get the fans to slide in.. they keep hitting the pulley on the power steering pump... shouldnt there be more than enough room?

Very odd, usually they are very close to the water pump pulley not the PS pulley. Are you sure you are putting them in correctly so they engage the clips at the bottom of the radiator?

I had the same problem, I recon you have AU fans which are 100 mm deep whereas EL fans are around 75 mm deep.
