I have a Eb2 fairmont ghia and ever since i bought it it has been a slug of the mark it has a 3.23lsd in it so it should be a bit better than a stock gli. I am wondering if the injectors or cat are stuffed as the motor crapped itself and i replaced it with an Au motor with 71000k's on it and it is still a slug down low it has a little more in the upper revs but still not like other falcons that i have been in any suggestions would be a great help.

You can do a dynamic compression check that will tell you quite a bit without touching anything but the spark plugs.

Here's how.... http://www.imperialclub.com/Repair/Engine/dynamic.htm

That will tell you if it is blocked cat or intake, etc.

Have you checked fuel filter and fuel flow/pressure?

cheers
Scott
