hi guys,

my EA is having a couple of probs when on Gas, firstly, when you put the clutch in at any speed over 30kmh, it stalls straight away, this even happens when i put it in neutral and roll above 30kmh, it stalls and when i start it up again rolling in neutral, it stalls again straight away.

its really pissing me off lol, does anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing it?

and just recently, its been developing a misfire, only happens once every half hour or so, say in 3rd doing about 30, put the foot down and it misfires then carries on its way. i dont know if this has anything to do with the fact that it popped out of 3rd today when i was doing about 85 on the highway going up a hill, and i had my foot down all the way (steep hill) and before i could take my foot off, it revved to what i guessed was around 6500rpm .

i got all panicky and was like "f**k i hope i havent blown something up" etc etc. why dont LPG cars have rev limiters  lol.

sorry about the long post.

how often do you require neutral coasting at speed ? it's not good for any car. i think it was the vl's, auto gearbox oil pump only works in gear, mate found this out the hard way trying to 'save fuel' ended up forking out for a new auto.

lol i know thats not good but i only did it once.

UPDATE: ok, i now know that the misfire is actually not a misfire, its my clutch slipping  only for a split second though, and it feels like a misfire. now there is a loose bolt somewhere under my car, it only vibrates between 1000 and 1750 rpm, could this loose bolt be contributing to my slipping clutch?

lol keep driving it & find out... ford l6 presssure plates only have 3 bolts, if you have 2 & it's still running push the limits & see if it can be done with 1 !
