Thanks Hi I'll just say I'm new to this site before anything else. pic of dyno sheet here: http://i631.photobucket.com/albums/uu33 ... 180914.jpg My EL pulled 147.1rwkw and thats with: Pacemaker 4499 extractors 3" High Flow Cat 2.5" Exhaust (Single Muffler) Wade 977B Camshaft Crow Valve Springs Larger Exhaust and Inlet valves AU Steel Head Gasket Head Ported K&N panel filter XR6T snorkel Shift Kit 3.89 LSD J3 Performance Chip & Dyno Tuned I have paid a total of $5500 for all this including labour, only did a few of these mods myself. Picked up some of it second hand, saved a bit of money that way. Considering my rwkw figure and that my car is auto, I should run mid 14s with a good launch. Yours being manual, you may not want to change your diff, which will save you a 1g at least. I reckon with extractors, high flow cat, 2.5" exhaust, large cam, stronger valve springs, higher flowing intake, the head ported, chip and good dyno tune you could run mid to high 14s, this setup taking you for about $2500-3500, less if you can do most of the work yourself and get some of the stuff 2nd hand. You can run a 14 on an unopened 4L, infact smoke_ ran a 14.6 in a manual EF GLI with 3.45LSD, Pacie Comps and a 2.5" exhaust. I ran a 14.9 in an unopened 5spd ED XR6 with the factory 3.45LSD, Pacie 4499's and a 2.5" exhaust.
It doesn't take much after an exhaust to run mid 14's in a 4L Manual falcon, Auto's on the other hand are harder to crack into teh 14's at all. It is possible, but not easy.

i ran a 14.3 in my 5 speed EL XR6
MODS: CMS stage 3 cam CMS stage 2 head Extractors, 2.5" exhaust, hi flow cat 3" air intake pipe i had 143 rwkw and 370nm on CMS dyno you dont need an ecu upgrade or tune to run a mid to low 14, you just need the right gear and you need to speak to people that know what they are doing.... after that 14.3 run i put on a 68mm throttle body which cranked my power up to 152rwkw. If i added diff gears and had the car tuned, i surely would have cracked into the 13s... but that car is now sold! another important thing is that you also need to know how to drive! haha

I ran a 14.9 @ 95mph with an stalled auto EB, 3.7s & 160rwkw. Should've been a lower 14.
The auto was holding me back. It also didn't like the heat.

Haven't had the chance to run down the 1/4, but had it dynoed at 193rwhp ( 143.9 rwkw ).
Its an ED sedan, 4.0 I6, with EA 3.9 head ( ported and polished with swirl ridges intact, at home ), std valves with back-cut inlets, multi-angle seats, Std EA 3.9 cam and std EA valve springs, with the ED rocker gear & std cam sprocket, 3" pod filter ( no box ) and EA rubber intake hose, Pacie 4480's, homemade CAT ( 2&1/2" inlet, twin 2&1/4 outlet ) using a Zuna-Starker BMW CAT centre, Homemade exhaust system, single muffler ( as loud as stock EF XR6 ), EA 5sp manual, 3.27 LSD, and a Morristech piggy back ( tuned by seat of pants ). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRJrzNW4WuI Was taken with a still photo camera, Pentax Optio S10.
