Im wanting to buy an au motor to go into my ghia, wondering what i need to change to put a standard one in and also what would b needed to put a vct motor in?? Is a vct motor worth the extra stuffing around?? The guy who is selling the motor seems to think that its just wiring that needs to be modded which seems a lil silly to me as how could extra wiring control vct????

You will need the modified sump to put an au motor into an EL....and to run VCT....you will need to convert it to coil packs and find a AU series 1 vct computer. and re-wire that. not worth the f**k around you'd be better off with a au xr6 HP motor or just a normal AU motor.. and go from there.
