I would leave it a std bore, if possible, especially if you turbo it. Just means more meat in the bore area, so it won't bulge under high boost application.

True, a rebore's one of the last things you should do. Wait till you pop a motor. Thats the best time to do it. If you wanna do major work, n/a, dont put a mild cam in now. Put an agressive one in, and work around it.

you can buy off the shelf pistons up to 40thou (1mm) beyond that you need custom ones or find something from another engine that will fit.

go much past 1mm and the headgasket won't fit anymore and you'll also run into cylinder wall thickness problems.

to give you an idea of what you are talking about

stock bore and stroke (92.25x99.29) gives you 3.983L

at 20thou 4.027L
at 30thou 4.049
at 40thou 4.071
at 60thou 4.115
at 80thou 4.160

to get 4.2L you need 100thou over bore thats 2.5mm
