hi
just few quick questions do the aftermarket single thermo fans draw as much power as the ef/el thermo fans wether used as a dual set or not whats the lowest amperage for 12 in, 14 in and 16 inch aftermarket thermo fans. for the fans to run slow speed on both motors when the engines are at normal temperature and the fans to run high speed on both motors when the temperature gaues at 1/2 way how do people wire them up for that set-up? can someone please put up diagrams for that set up |

how come you want to change from the factory fans? are they stuffed? or is the car overheating?
If you really want to change the fans, why not just wire them up to the current plug system?

factory ones are better.
i had a 14" and a 12" davis craig fan on mine originally and to be honest the factory ones did a much better job than the aftermarket ones and factory ones were cheaper.. oh and do a search mate.. there are tech doco,s with how to hook thermo fans up... ' |

if they are drawing too much current/power from your alternator, then you need to look at your alternator as it is either not running right or you have an aftermarket alternator on there that is not big enough.
The standard fans are ok on the standard alternator

also will one 16 inch thermo fan or a 16 and a 10 inch thermo fan with a shroud be enough to keep those older ea-ed fords cool in all hot weather and towing conditions.
