Apparently getting better cams on an auto isn't so good? Something about the ECU wanting to see certain things and with lower pressure it not finding them and your gear changes get quite bad?

True?

Depends on the cam.
I've got a RPD Rspec3 cam in my auto.. no problems at all.. pretty lumpy, pulls hard.. but no idle hassles at all.
I've got a mate with a wade cam.. its no drama in an auto.. but his idle hunts around occassionly

Check the RPD and Wade sponsor forums. Read about the different cams they have to offer. Contact them, then go from there. Most questions have already been answered in those forums about the cams :)

I believe my setup costs $530 delivered now.

dont bother with the SS induction, major rip off, especially given the power output your aiming for

Just rang Jaysen.

If I had doubts about getting a cam, I don't know.

I think i'm going to play it safe and go with an R-spec2, which apparently should pull an extra 20-30Kw.

I'm happy as, now, and I havn't even bought it yet

:D :D :D
