How's it goin guys?

I recently purchased a '94 ED XR6 and I'm wondering whats the best way to extract some power from her without going to overboard. I wouldnt mind eventually adding a turbocharger kit to it in the future but I want something easy on the wallet but worth it for now.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Drew

Air filter and an exhaust for a start. Then maybe some head work. Plugs and leads are always good to.

Next step is probably a nice exhaust or stage 2 stereo.

take a look at this thread

a quick summary: extractors & exhaust + a cam. That's where the biggest gains seem to be had

Pacemaker to a nice set of extractors, as do hi-tech, as does JMM. most peole run with the pacies though as they're priced well for what they offer

as for cams, great things have been said of the ALTED cams, CMS have had good results, Wade have had a predominantly good repsonse, though some people have claimed a bit of a backward step in performance, and i think they were running tickford heads (like your XR)

Any old 2.5" cat back mandrel bent exhaust should do the trick to finish it off :)
