but really can they work?? think about them for sec. you are fitting a metal ring to the injector. whats the difference between the injector sitting in a hot manifold, and having that ring between the injector and the same manifold.?? I think the polished metal ring obsorb more heat then what plastic would. . polished metal or chrome will attract more heat and stay heated, where plastic is more of a heat dissipater. If you check an injector, the tip doesn't touch the inlet manifold 1/2 cm or so where the vaporate collars recess over the injector transferring heat right to the tips. well Thats what I can make out of the pictures anyway. the guy at K-_art tyre & auto service said it'll save you fuel but I said I rather buy some really good tyres thank you.
