i only payed 140 for my lukey extractors.

ringing up everywhere and all want 200 off me to put it in. is this about right?

all that has to be done is cut back a bit of the pipe to the cat , weld on a flange, stick a new exhaust manifold gasket in, and bolt it all up. 200 for that?? doesn't seem that hard, i would do it myself if i had the tools for welding and cutting the metal.

so is 200 a bit steep? i think so for what it is..

on the other hand, anyone in the sydney area wanna have a go? pm us if you can, i'm sure we can work somehting out.

thats very steep, they just want your money cause you didnt buy the part from them.

I think it cost me 200 in labour to fit an entire exhaust system

sounds a bit rich. pacemaker quote 2.5 hours to do a 5ltr so an i6 should be half the time.

i had my done for around the 50 dollar mark (considering my cat was rooted and i got a replacement of a commodore).

what they do is...

unbolt old headers, unbolt cat from exhaust and headers (unless tractors were mad to suit the oem cat) cut the lengths of the cat weld a flange to suit the extractor and the exhaust, install extractor new gasket (19 dollars give or take) and high temp gasket goo (if applicable) and bolt and tighten everything....

about 1hr or so work for a person with all the right tools and skills
