Today my radiator thought it would leak i had to fill it up twice, it could be because of when installing the air intake the drill went down pretty far. (that metal is tough to drill into), snapped on drill bit trying to put a hole in it, but i got a hole eventuly and maybe an extra one in my radiator
very shattered dad said he would pay as he drilled it. has anyone done this before? how much would it roughly cost to fix? i dont know where it went through? will i need a new radiator???

Gman the rad man is king.
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... 4540499539 $180 and he'll charge you a $5 handling fee, but delivery is technically free. Personally i wouldnt bother repairing. Chances are the radiator is full of casting sand....

lol.......watching myth busters the other night and they diliberatly put a hole in the radiator of the engine they were experimenting on,anyways there was a myth that if u had a hole in your radiator a fresh egg would block the hole, well it worked ,if u r getting a new radiator give it a go in your old one otherwise i wouldnt do it cause if it blocks the hole id assume it would block every other orrifice in the radiator

Nah, get the fans out of the way. Remove all the hoses (top main, bottom main, side and overflow)... if you have auto, remove trans cooler lines... Radiator has 2 bolts holding it in.... then she will simply lift straight up.. Take the grommets out of the radiator you've just removed - they surround the bolts which were holding the radiator in (i.e. top corners of the radiator)... put these in the new rad... then do reverse to install new one....

If the radiator is old, then replace it. The tanks go brittle with age and will fail on you. Usually at the most inconvenient time.
If the Radiator is fairly new it may be worth repairing it. A radiator shop can repair holes on the core with solder, the tanks I'm not sure if they can be repaired, however they can be replaced. I paid $170 for a new radiator from my local shop.
