Guys,

Had the same problems  with my 2004 BA Ute, this is what I did and it fixed  the shudders...

-DBA slotted rotors w Bendix HD's
-Monroe GT-Gas Shocks
-Upper & Lower ball joints
-Tie-rod end's (came in the kit w ball joints so thought stuff it might as well)
-Nolathane Bushes front and rear on Lower Control Arm (prick of a job  )
-New tyre's w wheel alignment

Drove from Darwin to Adelaide (approx 3000km) beginning of Dec and not a problem, tyre's wore evenly, no shudders (except for those bloody cattle grids) and brakes aren't even making a sound!!

 Keep in mind though I don't have ABS or IRS so this may have been an easy, though not a cheap  , win for me...

Hope this helps lads

theres a main nut that adjusts the pressure on the pads in the booster, i belive this was to tight on most fords and caused the pads to always sit against the rotors, thus causing excess heat and causing the shudder
