Keep ignition on for an hour. Make sure battery is fully charge before trying this.

As shown below, also confirm your interior light is operational first as this is power supply circuit...............................
SMARTLOCK SYSTEM MODULE REPLACEMENT & LEARN PROCEDURES SmartLock/BEM and CILA Learn Procedure With vehicles EBII - ED and XG Ute the system has a stand-alone SmartLock module. If you have replaced the CILA or the SmartLock module in service, you will need to download the CILA codes before you can start the car. This procedure is the same for the EF Falcon based vehicle fitted with a BEM module. Procedure: 1. Turn off all accessories. 2. Ensure that the system is free from error. With the ignition turned to the OFF position, the warning lamp will be flashing the armed code. 3. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position. The warning lamp should display error code 3, then flash the immobilised code. Leave the ignition switch in the ON position. 4. After 30 minutes, the CILA codes will download to the SmartLock module, the door locks will change state twice and the warning lamp will go out. 5. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position for at least 30 seconds, until the warning lamp displays the armed flash. 6. Verify the system by starting the engine. Falcons based vehicles EL - AU and including XH Ute use the same procedure with three exceptions: 1. The download time is 61 minutes. 2. AU Falcon based vehicle are not fitted with a warning lamp. 3. Once the codes are learnt and the door locks cycle the warning lamp continues to flash until the ignition is turned OFF and ON again. |
