To be honest i never had a problem unding front or rear caliper bolts an seeing as they are under 50NM they arent exactly tight.

If you are rears the the spanner has to do clockwise from the outside of the car.

Make sure you use a decent set of RING spanners or a decent set of of Sockets. If you are worried about roding the bolts then get a wire brush and a set of impact sockets and do it that way.

I live in aberfoyle park so if you need a hand tomorrow or what ever shoot me a email before 4pm to stomper.one@gmail.com or ring me after 4:20 on 0406 962 033...the names ben.:)

give them a bit of a soak with some wd40 or crc if you have some. as stomper said, make sure you are using the correct size socket or ring spanner. then try to fit another spanner or bar onto it for a bit more leverage. obviously hasn't been done for a while.

where abouts are you. i'm in woodcroft. send a pm if you need a hand.

cheers thks for the offer of help but i think i be ok

ive never had any probs either in the past but these fukers are tight or seized or rusted on - i dont think they have ever been off b4

ill get some wd40 and a breaker bar - and btw i only ever use quality tools

usually a ring spanner and a 3lb hammer will undo any bolt/nut but not these bastards

Those bolts should have been Loctited on, so put it back on when you refit them, or they'll come loose and fall out. Seen it happen.

drivers side wasnt loctited - i think it was done up by gorilla boy and it looked like it had some clay based grease that had hardened
