Hey guys found a leak on my rear crank, (pretty sure thats where its coming from) its a leak athe back of the engine near bellhousing, anyway id replace the crank seal myself but i do not have the tools to drop a gearbox out to get to the seal, Im just wanting to know approx how much it would cost to get it replaced, it doesnt seem like that much work just a pain in the a***, can anyone give me a rough cost from your average mechanic so i dont get overcharged

Make sure its not the back of the rocker cover leaking down the block as this is common.
I think I saw somone quoted 450 or so. Personally I would spend that on a good 1/2inch socket set and spanners.

Or you could spend a hundred bucks on a socket set and a few dollars on some 17 and 19mm spanners to crack the diff to driveshaft... (15 and 17 maybe)... And then you could have three fifty to spend on smack.

Smack is always a good option..

well in that case il sus out the rocker cover, hopefully its just the rocker cover gasket.
