I was doing the rear servo gasket and when I took the cover off a spring and a metal rod came off and sprang out.

Now wtf are these and how do I put them back in?

I tried putting the rod in and I feel a spring inside and I think I see a bolt like thing with a hole in it but it's on an angle.

So how do I put this back together?

use some vasiline and stick them both in the servo cover
and push them into the band strut (the thing on the angle)
you should have a little bit of springing back while you push in
do the bolts up and top up the oil and check you have reverse

Thanks heaps i'll go do it now.

Also the clip on the filter came off and I don't know where it goes.

There's a circle on each side where I think it held it.

Do I just put it in there in anyway I can?

the round bit in the middle goes to the top left of the fillter and look just in of where the 2 ends are and you will see where they hook on just did mine yesterday
