Did a search and I couldn't find anything. Basically need some work done on a EL XR6. Used Crescent and they were awesome but the shop is a good hour away from me (longer with peak hour) and then im left with finding a way back :)

So im hoping someone can recommend me a good mechanic in the area.

Cheers

Mate, I doubt you will find a good mechanic who also knows the E Series falcons like the back of their hand, anywhere but at CMS in the Sydney area.

What is the problem anyway? Can't you tackle it yourself?

Cheers
BenJ

I believe there are a few GOOD mechanics at Brad Garlic Ford, the Service Manager is not a bad guy either, Mr Elias, give him a call and see? :)

I have the crap idle/fuel economy problem. Last time I was at CMS they said the next step was ripping out the injectors and cleaning them. Told them not to go ahead as at that stage I wasn't sure if I was gonna have a job in the next couple of weeks. However things have changed so im ready to fix it. I could do it pull them out myself but im extremely straped for time these days.

I've heard mixed storys about Brad Garlic servicing...
