its fine at around 100 to 120km/h......once you start taking it further it gets loud.....but the sound around town when driving is really good.

Well, got the redback system today, the cheapest I could get locally was $345 supply only for 2.5" one muffler and one rear resinator. I put it in my self after adding an larger front flange to suit my 2.5" cat and a new chrome TIP. Has a nice little burble at idle and overall its not that noisy.

Yeah IMO they sound way too quiet with the rear resonator, I just got mine yesterday (but I've already mostly worn it in hahaah) and the roar from 1500-3800 is awesome... bit quieter at the top end than i expected tho. the thing i do love is that it is almost silent in 5th at 100-120, perfect for freeway cruising... hope the 3.73 gears don't ruin that...

thats a bloody expensive price.
lpg destroys your cat converters, but your exhaust should still last a fair while...
i payed around $250 for lukey fitted, I'd still take Lukey over recback any day!

Interesting, the guy at the shop said he would love to sell me a lukey as he makes more money out of it, he also said the redbacks are a knock off of the lukey design except that he did mention that some Lukey systems have smaller entry and exit size into the mufflers negating the benifit of the 2.5" pipes.
I don't know how you guys are able to get them prices, all the shops here in Canberra must be coluding (sp) to keep the prices up.

lukey extractors - poo poo.
lukey mufflers - nothign sounds better!!!
these days we use marine grade stainless steel for our exhaust pipes and just make them straight with a diff dumper on the end - other than that no bends.
