hey wadsup, i was just wondering... How long would you have to be driving at the redline to have something go wrong with your car? And what things would go wrong with the car?
Because i see in many racing games, To get best performance, you have to stay in the redline region of the tacho!

Best thing to do, is jump in your car, put it in 1st, and hold the pedal to the floor, and they you can tell us all the answer

hahah, sorry, couldnt resist

They do go to 6200 on the V8s I know.

EEEP! you would think that the cluster would show greater than 6000 if they can rev upto 6200 :P

It was being driven - here is a video (800 odd k)

Rev limiter has been lifted using a chiptorque to suite the cam.http://users.on.net/~jasiunas/stockstandard/shift/shiftlight.wmv

The enigne is buit strong - balanced bottom end, good pistons, moly rings, etc, etc. Peak power is at about 5500 rpm and is still going hard at 6000.
