hi guys i really need help in removing my computer cover its got me stuffed! is there anyone that has removed it or knows how? any light shed on the subject is more than appreciated

thanks all, i called ford and they said to use a hacksaw blade and cut a slit in the bolt as they brake off when installed.
FYI go to the source if in need of a quick response.

Computer cover? Are you talking about the ICC fascia? I can't imagine Ford telling anyone to get a hacksaw blade out and start cutting dash pieces.

use a centre punch and tap it round, then use vice grips.

Still, I find it hard to believe that Ford would tell anyone to get a hacksaw blade and start cutting parts of their car off! |

thats actually the computer not a cover so be careful, but yes, best option is to use a hacksaw to cut a grove in it (so that you can use a flat bladed screwdriver to get it out). They are a one use bolt similar to that used on ignition barrels which snap off when they get to the right tension.
