have just purchased a granny ef falcon. gave her a new rad, full service and heeps of love which was well over due. is it possible to remove that little spanner from my oddometer? also damn airbag light wants to stay on. thanks for any advice

You need to clear the code from the computer. This is done by shorting a few pins in the diag connector. Cant remember off the top of my head which one but it has been talked about before so you should be able to dig it up with a search if nobody replies here.

To remove the spanner just hold down the odometer reset button and turn the ign to acc., wait 10-15secs and you should hear a beep. It should then be cleared from the dash until the next 10000km.

Mine wouldnt let me do it when my car was running though so maybe just chuck it in accessories? |

Well that's what I meant in the first place, your car won't start when you turn the ignition to accessories..................The engine must be turned off and not running.

thank's to all who helped with my little problems. only just moved up to the ef, spent all my previous years playing with xp, xy, xw, xr, xg, eb and ed. air bags and digital dash's are brand new teritory. and they rekon you can't teach an old dog new tricks
