Hey guys.
I'm removing the diff out of my ED XR6 wreck to put in my ED Gli. However I've come to a roadblock. In my gregory's it states "Remove the axle breather nipple bolt retaining the center union of the hydraulic brake pipes to the axle housing. Now of course being a gregory's it's a piece of crap non specific half a*** manual. So there's no picture or even a description of where this bolt is located. So all I'm looking for pretty much is to find out which bolt it is as there's a few around those 2 breather hose things. Thanks |

Thanks mate.
I removed the axle breathing hose from the cabin. There's another hose coming off it that goes to a brake line, I loosened the bolt connecting that hose to the brake line and had 2 drops of brake fluid come out. So I tightened it back up. I couldn't see a bolt on the axle housing just 2 hoses going into it. The only 2 bolts I saw were the ones connecting the brake line to the section on the housing that the hoses go into. So the bolt is on that housing then? I'll og take another look. |

the breather is the one that goes directly into the top of that t piece..
and it doesnt matter if brake fluid comes out of the other ones as the brakes need to be disconected to change the diff anyway.. |
