Hey guys, when I did my head gasket ages back I snapped 2 or 3 bolts into the head when I put the Ford extractors back on (what an experience, lol.)
Anywho, plan to buy these Pacemaker extractors and then getting something to fit the extractors. Thing is, if I get a mechanic or an engine specialist place to install the extractors, will they be able to remove the bolts that snapped and are not sitting in the head? Here are the headers: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/PACEMAKER-HEADERS-FALCON-EA-EB-ED-EF-EL-AU-XG-XH-AU-6_W0QQitemZ140125344493QQihZ004QQcategoryZ50140QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem Cheers lads.

drill into the broken stud and the use an easy out to remove the broken bit of bolt.

Ill be the first to advise against an easy out! Get someone to do it properly. Its much easier to remove a broken head stud than it is to remove a broken head stud with a stud extractor stuck inside it. How did the bolt break? If you went to take it out, and the bolt twisted itself in two, an easy out wont fix it. chances are it will be corroded inside the head.

if the broken bolts still have some 'stud' protruding out of the head (when exhaust is off, obviously), then just spray that "freeze n snap" stuff onto them and take to them with vice grips.
