easy mate remove the cover, disconect the two plugs at the front, with a flat blade screw driver pop them out by applying a little amount of leverage at the plastic base inline with the motor and they should as i said pop out , good luck with the rear number 6 plug they are an a** hole to get out it can be a bit of a mission lol

Dont you just hate it when you are half way through a service and it Rains !!.. anyways, you where right, plug 6 is a nasty one.... For anyone wanting to change the plugs themselves listen up (or read up !) Plug 6, the easiest way to do this is, drop the plug remover in to the hole, then you can slide your extension in and click it on, using the ratchet undo the plug, remove the ratchet from the extension, then lift the extension as high as you can and push the plug removing tool off the extension using a screw drive, the plug and the plug remover will drop back into the hole. Now, using a extendable magnet tool ( about $5 from supercheap) pop that in the hole and bingo you remove the plug and the plug removal tool in one. ( if you have to change the 6th plug you will understand !)... OH and I wont tell you the name of the company that serviced the car at the 100k mark but they changed all but the 6th plug !.. How do i know, 1 to 5 where NGK and the 6th was a odd brand i have never seen before... So, new air filter, oil, plugs and full squirter bottle for windscreen, and she runs like new again... Massive difference.

Or to make it even a little easier to change number 6 plug, get a swivel bit to put ontop of your small extension that connects into your sparkplug socket. you should be able to undo the plug, take off your ratchet and manouver the swivel, extension and sparkplug socket with spark plug - all in one go - its all about careful manouvering. then to put it back in same again in reverse, although you can actually remove the swivel, put the plug into the socket, lower the plug into the shaft by holding the extension, then start threading the plug in by hand as far as possible to avoid cross threading your head, then attach your swivel bit with another extension and a ratchet, and bob's your aunty.
Good luck team Happy Motoring.
