hey guys, ive noticed, only in my 2nd gear, that it hesitates after building up the revs wen its foot flat..eg, 1st gear, can rev out to 5,500rpm in 1st(80km then auto shifts into 2 then it goes to bout 90-100km in 2nd n its make a bom bom bom bom limiter sound but the revs are still climbing but i loose torque n power, its a hestiation or a studdering, only in 2ND gear !? not in 3rd or nething, does anyone know wot can be the cause? it didnt do it the other night then all of a sudden its doin it again, a friend suggested over fueling ?? wen i check the throttle, it opens up full and it can be opened the TINIEST bit more but not that much....

wood anyone know wot the prob could be?

Is it missing under load?
Electrical problem perhaps?
Have you checked coil, plugs & leads?

hey man, nah it does it even wen im buy myself, its not a heat prob, coz it does it in the freezgin cold too, i have a open pod out in the open, no box, but that cant be the prob as it sometimes doesnt do it..so its not just underload...also the electrical system is fine...its only high rev's of 2nd gear only, not 1st gear or 3rd gear... is it possible the gearbox is stuffed?

ok just confirmed it, 2nd gear at the start of 4000rpm it starts stuttering, can still rev out all the way to 5500 limiter but it loses torque, can anyone find out wot causes this stuttering (no other gear @ 4000rpm does this (1st n 3rd are fine, 4th havent gotten that high yet:))

ok now its weird, turns things around now...it does it in all gears but 1st gear (like its over fueling after 1st gear)...does it in high rpm after 1st gear in all gears....can it be fuel pump? injectors clogged?, ecu stuffed?

same problem as me dude.
loose s**t of torque and power hey. (me=4700-5200)

I will tell u things i have tried to fix this problem.
-NEW dizzy
-New plugs
-New Leads
-New MAP sensor
-New Coil
-Swapped ECU's
-Tried a chip
-Different Cold Air Setup
-Changed timing
-New fuel filter
-Cleaned injectors

and some other stuff i cant remember

I too have a wade cam, but i still had this problem before the cam went in but it was alot worse.

Did this only happen after you put ur cam in?
The fact it isnt dialed in, could mean its a tooth out or something. CHeck ur cam timing again.

Get your auto serviced. I had a similar problem, and at times it'd even fall out of gear going 'round corners.

Turns out there wasn't enough fluid left in it to even drain, it had to be pumped out, flushed, and refilled. At the time I also got a cooler fitted, so the bill was the fat side of $500. But all the problems are no gone.

The auto's take 10 litres of fluid.

A regular auto tranny service is around $150.

Mine needed, the flush, a new bush, and I added the cooler, so it was $540 all up.
