Hi Guys I've changed the high end power steering hose on my el and with the new hose being different I was told to take off the nut on the back of the pump where the old one went into, which I did and screwed the new one straight into the pump. What I've noticed is that the metal bend just before the nut still swivals once I've tightened the nut, is this normal or have I done something wrong. any help would be great

They are supposed to swivel. It allows flex when the motor revs.

Is it leaking?
