Hey mate and welcome to Fordmods.

Easiest I have found is to remove the air intake, including the bottom box. If you're not sure how to remove the air box follow the steps below...if you do, then just skip the next 2 paragraphs :D.

To remove the air intake, unclip the clips that hold the lid of the air box to the bottom box as you would when changing the air filter. Undo the 3 10mm bolts that hold the intake piping in place. There are 2 on the BBM and 1 on the chassis near the washer bottle. The intake piping should be loose now and undo the bolt on the retainer at the throttle body. Once that is loosened you can just pull the whole top half of the intake out.

Before removing the bottom half of the box, remove the air snorkel with a phillips head. Remove the bottom air box by undoing 3 or 4 10mm bolts. 2 are found at the top of the box and 1 or 2 are found at the bottom. Now it can be removed and have better clearance to reach the coil pack area.

You can use the end of a screw driver to push the leads onto the coil pack.

Make sure you remove the leads in the correct way if you mistakenly placed it in the wrong order, by grabbing at the end of the lead rather then at the cord and don't yank...twist then pull.

hopefully that helps...not sure if you are a newb to this so I thought I'd write the whole procedure cause I have nothing else to do :D... have fun.

phong =P~

Wait a couple hours with the bonnet open for the engine to cool down

Remove the whole airbox and intake

Mark your old leads with cylinder number. Number 1 is closest to power steering filler

Weave your arm over the steel water pipe and undo all the leads by hand.

Lay the new leads with the old ones and work out which ones match up the best. Number the new leads.

Fit your new leads.

Coil pack order is as follows with no.1 & no.6 pointing to the front of the car

3........4
2........5
1........6
