Good morning!

I've been stashing away for awhile now to splurge on my Ef xr6. Now that I'm getting closer to being able to afford what I wish to do I'm after some advice. The plan is to have a ba xr6 put in.

My first question is what would people suggest I do for my diff gear ratio wise?

And will a ZF 6speed sequential auto go into an Ef? Would it be a possible idea or is that too much wishful thinking?

Any advice would be appreciated or just slightly abusing me due to my wishful thinking and having no actual idea of what is possible. All I know is I know what I want and I'd like to know if it's all possible.

Cheers frank!

there's a sticky on it actually B's into EF's etc..

the short story yeah you can get it in sure but it takes sump modification and the engine sits to tall in the bay so you'll have to have bonnet modications as well.. aftermarket engine management would be the easier way to go as well.. so yeah but $$$

No ZF unless you intend on putting the complete BF.FG harness/ecu/BEM. Buy a BF is the short answer, not trying to be rude.

You want a 6 speed, throw a T56 manual in there, hydraulic clutch setup and good clutch, you will still have change compared to the inital outlay of a ZF box.

It wasnt rude I was after that kinda response. Lay it out to me dont sugar coat it. I considered the manual conversion. I also considered buying a bf. And I happily would. Just gotta find the right deal. And the sleeper Ef appeals to me.

xr6 / xt = barra motors. same motor. every car

lot of frikn around. jet xr did an awsome job on his EF (worked xr6t motor)

if your pulling a motor, maybe the CMS stroked job is a better option
