Hi guys, I've done a bit of a search but most ECU reset rundowns are for automatic cars - is there any trick to doing it with a manual car? Can someone give me a step by step rundown?

Car is a 4.0 litre, 5 speed XG btw but I believe it's the same driveline as ED? (hence the topic title). Thanks very much for any info!
