hey guys, what the easyist way to rest your timing i f@cked up when i put my new cam in ,my xg and just want it to standard timing, cheers kyle

Turn motor until TDC, then line up cam sprocket so the mark is on the right side of the head. Make sure the balancer mark lines up with the timing case mark.

the mark on the cam sprocket (r/h side) should be about 3mm above the top face of the head (where the rocker cover gasket sits)

maybe be a silly question but do you mean R/H side standing facing the car or facing the same direction of the car? cheers kyle

He means standing over the engine , so right hand side will be inlet manifold
