i got 40thou shaved off the head, my last dyno before the head work was 149.1rwkw then when i got it dynoed today it was 145.2rwkw my tunner fiddled with the chip and made it produce 154.4rwkw altho this doesnt seem a great deal in a power increase
i would suggest any one looking to make there car pull hard no matter where the revs are do this!!!

there is no drop off in power it just keeps going and going

has any one else had the same result???

what was done to the head??..shaving 40 thou is not going to do that much for performance..
and was it done on the same dyno as before??

ive had mine dyno'd and made 194rwkw.. did some mods(larger exhaust, more boost).. and on another dyno only got 186rwkw..
got it re tuned on a 3rd dyno and now has 200rwkw ..so it depends on the particular dyno.the ambient temp ect...

yer same dyno, i got it done this morning it is 15min drive, and he did a few runs because it started out so low,

but like i said tho not much diffrence in rwkw but huge diffrence in acceleration as far as my tunner said it would beat an xr6t ba, so im happy bout that

stock BA XR6Ts usually run low to mid 14s, possibly worse if it's the 5 speed.
if he's got a genuine 150rwkw with a T5 he should be around mid 14s, so it's not a ridiculous comment.

For 1200 bucks he better of done a decent port job and not just polished the ports for you :P

The figure it pulled on the dyno is pretty respectable. The real test will be the MPH it can run down the quarter though

every where else i got quoted much more such as 2400 was the most i got quoted

yer even tho the figures are pretty small the kick back in your seat never ends theres no break even when it changes gears.

my tunner said my cars one of the faster ones thats for sure
apparently im very lucky to have a motor that doesnt stop pulling

would be nice if we had a 1/4 mile but we dont so all i got is long roads down at aldinga and many p platers at maccas

i still think $1200 is a rip and a half for the work that was done and the power gain.
rather a bigger cam and a T5 for that price. got pics?
