ok i am lookin at retro fittin the au xr6vct into my eb ok now i have got how to do it but is it possible with a vct or do i have to do it with a standard au motor. Would like to have the vct be good. Thanks

Have a look at troymans build thread, his put a AU VCT in his boxcar...

ok so i am going to go pick up the motor on the weeknd and i was wonderiing what else i need i have the el manifold themos and coputer and pedel, now frmm the tec doc it said something about using the belt from the el? do i have to replace my aircon compresser with a el one if i do thats fine as mine is leaking and time to use it as paper weight but the rest of the pullies i have the ones for the belt and as for the harmonic balancer can i just use the one of the AU ir is it different?? i have a little know how have 2mates that work at ford and benz so u think i will be right using their know how and the techo doc. i am getting a lil nervis or should i just rebuild the ol eb motor???
