Hey guys when i rev my motor the revs take ages to drop ie: twice as long as they should???? Any ideas anyone???

mine does it with a crow cam in it - have been told it was the cam that was causing it! are you revving it in N/P?

N/P????? whats that stand for????

I just did the airbox mod (speedholes :)) and its made my revs drop considerably better, much more like normal :).

this happens to mine aswell.
been stumped why it does this?
the speedholes mod didnt really affect it i dont think and im not even running a cam.

could it be something to do with upgrading the exhaust system and running a hi flow cat and extractors???

Sounds like u might be on the money there with the exhaust n extractors thing... Started happening on mine when i got those done.. Only diff between u n me is ive still got a normal cat not a hiflo...

i have this problem and know the solution.

for a while i thought it was the isc, so i ran a solid gaskit on it and just upped the idle screw, this didnt help.

i resently found the problem while someone else used the pedal, the return spring wasnt doing its job, so i shortened it and the revs snap to idle now.
