Thats about it Tickford 6 nearly every time I try a machanic he f**ks it up or forgets s**t

IE : Mechanic does wheel alignment and stuffs it up
Tune up, 2 days later wont idle

and you get charged s**t, yer I was a d***head for even trying , now I got wise mechanix are f**kheads.

Damn straight, only thing I havn'ty attempted myself is the L.P.G., tranny I've done, and a few other things when they've stuffed up. Cheaper and easier to do when you do it yourself. Even my L.P.G. bloke has left screw drivers in the engine bay that I've found after arrriving home!

riolo's in cambellfield was recommended to me and he done a great job.

how did it 'stuff up'? it hard for it just stuff up unless YOU damage it by hitting something like a gutter or pot hole. once the alignment has been done it's done. there is no way it can just 'stuff up'

and why did it not idle? was it any thing to with things the mechanic had worked on?? what exactly was involved in this tune up?? what parts did you pay for???. if was on your falcon there is not anuy thing that can be done other than check the timming (that almost never needs adjusting) spark plugs and leads, dizzy cap and rotor.
what did you tell the mechanic when you took the car to him. did you explain all the problems you had with the car?
or just tell him you want a tune up??
if you dont explain ever thing to him how do you expect him to know what you want done

and by charged s**t what do you mean??

you go to a doctor and get charged $50 for 5mins of his time.

you go to a mechanic and get charged $66 an hour.

how do you expect us to pay all of our bills, pay office staff, take home a wage and still have the bussines make a profit??

LEN HUGHES AND ASSOC, is my mechanic, he does a top job and goes over everthing with you in detail, he also lets you pay in bits and pieces, great mechanic and very trustworthy, if its one thing you have to have, its gotta be a very honest and good mechanic in life

thats my whole point. there are good and trust worthy mechanics. me being one of them.

i garranty if you give me your car to fix i will call you when the problem has been found and tell you what needs to be done and how much it will cost. no parst will be orderd until you say you want the work done.
and when you come to get the car the bill will be same as quoted in the phone call.

Tickford 6, I am a tradey I know what it costs to run a business, so don't cry to me looking for pity.

I don't mind paying for a trade service if it is done correctly.

When you get stuffed around twice by two different mechanix, you get p****d off.

My brother is a mechanic and he left the trade because it is stuffed so
dont tell me what you don't know, cos it 's not worth s**t.

you still wont go into detail about what happend. make me wonder if it even happend at all.

or if it was even the mechanics fault that your wheel alignment 'stuffed up' what ever the hell that means. point to you f**k it up by hitting something and looking for some one to blame.

so you brother couldn't fix properly and had to quit becuase he got a bad name. get over it and putting every one in the basket.

best way to get a mechanic is when someone u can trust recommends someone else. i was just recommend to some guy and probably give it a shot. if the worksmanship turns out bad i won't go again. most likely i will since ive been told it is good there.

so not all mechanics do bull crap work for money.
