Hey can someone advise. I want to change rocker cover on my EB to EF model. Is this just as simple as removing old cover and replacing with EF rocker along with new gasket. Also I want to get rid of intake manifold from EL. Comes complete with throttle body and fuel rail and injectors. Also has wiring harness with it. Make me an offer.

Im not too sure about the rocker covers, but in reguards to your EL intake manifold, put a post into the for sale section, and sombody will take it off your hands.

with the rocker cover u have to take out the studs in the rockergear and replace them with the bolts that the EF cover uses

theres plenty of posts about the rocker. You do NOT have to use the el bolts.. u can just use the nuts u took off the eb model, and just a few washed. But the bolts are the better way to go.

what about the rubber grommets that seal where the bolts go on the EL ones?

**dont** use the nuts and washers on the end
it will leak oil.

generally if you go to a wrecker and get the rocker cover, they will throw your in the bolts anyway :)

also, try to get el bolts, as ef ones have an additional threading on the top for the intake to bolt to !
