umm yeh, i had a motor fall off a pallet while moving it today.
it like rolled off in a nice summersault.

visually there's only slight scratches to the rocker cover, but is there any possible damage that could of occured?

(it was a gentle roll over)

once you install it bounce the limiter a couple of times just to make sure all is good - or a burnout will surfice...

yeh might find oil has gone up the bore so may be quite smokey for first few minutes but can see any bad effects other than some dented pride.

i'd only be concerned about physical damage.
if it 'looks' fine then i'd imagine it is fine.
i started a motor in a car that had been rolled (once it was back up properly obviously)
and it was fine, bit of smoke, but it cleared.
