hey, just a problem with my ef, rough idle, ive been told by a couple of people that it sounds like its running 5 cylinders instead of 6, ive replaced all the spark plugs, the spark plug leads and it wasnt that, all the leads are secure too. once the car gets above 2,000rpm though then it runs nicely, how it should run, someone help me please!

Have you checked each cylinder seperately by removing one lead at a time whilst running. If there is a problem with an injector, lead or spark plug this will narrow it down. When unplugging a lead one at a time and you notice no change in idle there is your faulty cylinder. Also you may have a poor fuel injector.
An easy way to chack for lazy or faulty injectors is to pinch the return fuel rail line, this will increase the fuel pressure to the injectors. If the injector is slightly blocked this may even clean it. if the idle does improve it may very well be the injector(s)

if you have had leads breaking down, you might have trouble at the coil. when the leads start breaking down, the spark that doesn't get to the plug goes back into the coil, causing damage. what were the leads like that you took off?

The problem you have is similar to mine. It sounds like it misses every now and then when idling, and when accelerating at a steady pace it surges from time to time. Mind you when it does happen I tend to put my foot down to get past the surge feeling which makes it sound like more of a blocked injector problem
